Pop star Alexandra Burke says she finds it "hard" being in a long-distance relationship with herAmerica-based boyfriend Marcus Anthony.
The Elephant hitmaker has been dating the US-based singer-songwriter since last October and relies on internetvideo call software Skype to stay in touch with her boyfriend, Contactmusic reported.
"We're still dating exclusively but long-distance love is very hard. He's in America and I haven't seen him for a coupleof months because we're both so busy. It's not easy at all, but the more you dwell on it the more it gets to you. Skype isbrilliant though," she said.
While she and Anthony have been together for four months, he is not the person Burke turns to when she needs support.
"Having a long-distance relationship doesn't make you feel like you have someone who's there. They can't give you acuddle if you want one. I wouldn't rely on him for support when I've got my team here. If I need to have a cry, I knowthey're there for me. Sometimes my head is all over the place."
