Mumbai:
The team of Saala Khadoos comprising R Madhavan and Ritika Singh along with producer Rajkumar Hirani celebrated Pongal in Mumbai.
Madhavan decided to begin the auspicious day by taking Mr Hirani and Ritika for a traditional Pongal breakfast at a South Indian restaurant.
"Maddy had invited Ritika and me for breakfast. But, he arrived at my residence with a veshti (lungi) this morning. He insisted that I should wear this traditional attire. Initially, I was hesitant, but now I am feeling nice and comfortable in this," said Mr Hirani.
"Wish you all a very Happy Pongal. On this day, we thank Lord Surya for the good yield. We draw rangolis, sing songs and prepare pongal. It is made from the crops that we have grown. After that, we thank the sun for giving us such good pongal," said Madhavan.

Saala Khadoos will release on January 29.
