Varun Dhawan met Madhuri on the sets of So You Think You Can Dance, where he promoted his new film Dishoom. The 49-year-old actress, who is one of the judges of the dance-based reality show, made her Dubsmash debut, assisted by Varun. Madhuri, phir se maar daala?

Devdas was based on the Bengali novel by Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan played Paro in the film, which released on July 12, 2002.
