The album, in the first week of its release, hasachieved a Gold status in India and is at number one on thenational Planet M retail charts.
Girl Gone Wild, a track from MDNA, released on March26 worldwide and has debuted on top in the iTunes charts in 40countries. The record has also witnessed the biggest one daypre sale on iTunes by any artist in history.
It's the 8th time Madonna has returned to the top of theBillboard's Pop Charts with MDNA selling 359,000 albumsaccording to Neilsen Soundscan and is the biggest sellingfirst week debut this year.
MDNA is Madonna's fifth studio album in a row and isavailable exclusively on Universal Music.
