The fact that Tigmanshu Dhulia considers Mahie Gill his muse is not new. The director first worked with Mahie in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster and then again in its sequel.
If rumours are to be believed, Tigmanshu Dhulia has once again cast Mahie Gill in his next film, this time in an item number.
This has led to some tittle-tattle about the filmmaker's alleged closeness with the Punjabi kudi. In his next movie Bullet Raja starring Saif Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, Mahie Gill will be grooving to an item song.
Producer Rahul Mitra said, "In fact, Mahie was Tigmanshu and my first choice for the song. Not only that, when we met choreographer Ganesh Acharya to discuss the song, we ended up discussing Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster. Even Ganesh thought Mahie would be the right choice for the dance number."
One may recall that director Ram Gopal Varma is famous for giving movie breaks to many of his muses (read love interests). Even Salman Khan is known to give recommendations for his many 'close friends' to be a part of his reality show Bigg Boss. After all, mixing business with pleasure is not an alien concept in B-Town.
