Bangalore:
Here is good news for all Malashree fans who have not seen their favourite heroine on the silver screen for more than two years.
Malashree, who made her debut in Sandalwood with Nanjundi Kalayana in 1989, is set to appear in an all new avatar in Shakthi which will hit the silver screen shortly.
The actress, who got rave reviews and has quite a fan following for her bold, beautiful and enticing performance in the song Gundu Seridare Hennu from Nanjundi Kalayana will send shivers down villains' spine with her dialogues in film Shakthi.
"The USP of Shakthi is the powerful and punchy dialogues written by Anil Kumar. It is the first time that I have been given such dialogues in a film," said Malashree.
The action-oriented film has Ashish Vidyarthi, Avinash, Sharath Lohitasva, Sayaji Shinde, Vinaya Prasad, Hema Chaudhary in the star cast. The other speciality is that five stunt masters -- Ram Lakshman, Ravi Varma, Thriller Manju, Palaniraj and Mass Mada -- have worked for this film.
"They have competed among themselves to come out with the best stunt sequence. Finally, it was me who had to struggle to live up to their expectations. I acted in the stunt sequences without the help of a duplicate," she added.
Are there any memorable moments during shooting? "Taking part in all the stunt sequences are memorable moments for me. Ravi Varma made me participate in a chasing scene without any duplicate. I will never forget that chase scene," recalls Malashree. Fans need not worry about song sequences since there is a provision for one song.
"The song is about life. It was penned down by K Kalyan. It is a wonderful song," said the actress.
Shakthi's climax was shot at the Kolar Gold Fields recently. Anil Kumar, who made his debut as dialogue writer for films Orata I Love You and Kempe Gowda, makes his debut as a director with this film.
"We were impressed with Anil Kumar's ability to write powerful and punchy dialogues. We thought that Anil would be the best person to handle the megaphone for this film," added Malashree.
