Malayalam superstar Mammoottyand actress-singer Mamta Mohandas have bagged top honours atthe Mathrubhumi-Kalyan Silks Chalachitra awards.
Mammootty has been given the best actor award for hisperformance in Pranchiyettan and the Saint, while Mamta wasnamed the best actress for her role in Kadha Thudarunnu.Ranjith has been selected as the best Director.
Veteran actor Innocent Vincent has been conferred the specialaward for his roles in Katha Thudarunnu and Pranchiyettanand the Saint.
Rafeeq Ahamed was named the best lyricist, MJayachandran won the best music director gong.Vijay Yesudas and Shreya Ghoshal have been named thebest playback singers male and female.
The awards will be presented on April 3 at Thrissur,the release added.
