Malayalam superstar Mammootty met Raman Rajamannan, the King of tribal group Kovilmala recently during the shooting of Jawan of Vellimala in Cochin.
King Raman, who is the only literate person in his tribe, came all the way from the forest to meet the superstar.
The King discussed the current situation of his community with the superstar and sought his support for the higher education of the children of his tribe.
Mammootty promised that he would do his best to help the Kovilmala tribe. The King then draped ponnada on Mammootty and also offered honey and sweets.
