New Delhi:
Bigg Boss alumna Mandana Karimi reportedly did not get an invite for her brother-in-law's wedding, which is scheduled to take place in three days. The Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3 actress told Times Of India that she came to know about the wedding from media. Mandana Karimi married businessman Gaurav Gupta in January 2017 after dating for almost two years and she filed a case of domestic violence against her husband six months later. She withdrew the case in August saying she wants to "save her marriage." Gaurav's brother Gautam, who is a television actor, is getting married to his Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi co-star Smriti Khanna in a few days. When Gautam and Smriti got engaged there were reports that Mandana did not like the actress. Of these rumours, Mandana told Times Of India: "I have no interest in talking about anyone's marriage."
A source close to the Guptas also told Times Of India: "Things went for a toss when it was reported that Mandana disliked Smriti for whatever reasons especially after she and Gaurav had turmoil in their relationship. There are people who don't like others but when they say such things it talks more about the kind of person they are."
In July, Mandana alleged that she was thrown out of her 'matrimonial house' and Gaurav had severed ties with her. In addition she claimed that Gaurav and his family forced her to change her religion and his family stopped her from working in films after marriage. In July, Mandana dropped the domestic violence case saying this was the only way to communicate with her estranged husband but Gaurav told Mumbai Mirror that Mandana 'harassed' his family. He also said that if Mandana is "genuinely interested in an amicable settlement" then he would leave it to the "court to pass its orders."
Mandana Karimi has also featured in films like Bhaag Johnny and Main Aur Charles.
