Mumbai:
Actress Mandira Bedi launched the new holiday campaign for Singapore tourism, and praised the fact that animals in the Singapore zoo are not caged.
She feels Indian zoos can learn a lesson from Singapore.
"The best thing about Singapore is that there is something for everybody. I did a lot of fun things with my son there. The Singapore zoo is spectacular. The best things about their zoo is that none of the animals have been kept in a cage," the 41-year-old said on Thursday.
"That was the best thing about the zoo. Animals are in their natural habitat and yet you are not in any kind of danger. The zoo experience was the best and I think our zoos can learn from Singapore," she added.
Mandira recently launched her line of saris and also features in the TV show 24 in a key role.
