The condition of playback legendManna Dey, undergoing treatment at a private hospital here forage-related and other complications, has shown "marginalimprovement", hospital sources said.
"His condition is slightly better than yesterday (June 9). Thereis marginal improvement. He is stable," sources at NarayanaHrudayalaya said.
The 94-year-old Manna Dey, who has sung more than 3,500 songsin different languages, including Hindi and Bengali, in acareer spanning seven decades, has made Bangalore his homeafter living in Mumbai for 50 years.
Manna Dey, a Dadasaheb Phalke awardee, was hospitalised forchest infection on Saturday (June 8) after his health deterioratedbefore which he was being treated at his home for the pastcouple of weeks.
His popular tracks include Poocho Na Kaise Maine (MeriSurat Teri Aankhen), Ae Meri Zohra Jabeen (Waqt), ZindagiKaisi Hai Paheli (Anand), Yeh Dosti (Sholay) and Ek ChaturNaar (Padosan).
