Manoj Bajpayee’s performance in Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur was appreciated by the critics of the film industry.

Manoj Bajpai is a busy man thesedays. After the success of Gangs of Wasseypur and Special26, he is coming up with two films this year and the actorbelieves it is a good time for people like him in theindustry.
The 43-year-old's Shootout At Wadala is ready to hitthe screens while Prakash Jha's Satyagraha is currentlybeing shot.
"When I got recognition with Satya, I used to do onefilm a year. There were not many new ideas and new directors.I kept fighting my battle in a world of commercialism andformula film. It was a long battle but things are changingnow. Many great actors are getting good work now," Manoj Bajpayee said
on the sidelines of Times of India Film Awards, where he isnominated in the Best Actor Category.
The actor is not worried about winning or losing theaward and believes such functions should be enjoyed.
"Award shows are a big celebration of the fraternity. Itis a difficult task to choose a winner. Such functions shouldbe enjoyed."
On being a method actor, Manoj Bajpayee said, "I believe inbecoming the character. It is easy to get in a character butdifficult to come out. This is why actors are lonely and moodybecause you are getting into so many skins that you lose yourpersonality," he said.
