Even as hundreds of technicians, soundmen and stagecrew working hard to transform the Sands Grand Ballroom into aspectacular venue befitting Bollywood's most glamorous stars,the resort has made all arrangements to pamper local andforeign visitors who are attending the show.
From January 14-16, Zee Cine Awards ticket holdersattending Friday evening's gala award ceremony are entitled toenjoy exclusive shopping deals at The Shoppes at Marina BaySands, featuring up to 40 per cent discounts at selectedstores, it said.
Shoppers at the mall will be treated to complimentaryhenna tattoos and traditional bindis. Free Indian jewelry,including colorful bangles and Indian beads will be handed outto shoppers throughout the three days.
On Saturday, the resort would have a series ofperformances by a group of 40 dancers to the soundtrack ofOscar-winning film
Slumdog Millionaire.
Revelers can indulge in a Bollywood cocktail speciallyconcocted by the bartenders at FUSE, the hotel lobby bar.Called 1896, the drink references the year in which the firstmovie appeared in India, signalling the start of the Bollywoodera that we know today, it said.
