London:
Hollywood heartthrob Mark Wahlberg is set to star in the movie adaptation of the hit computer game Uncharted.
The actor has confirmed that he will be working in the film, whose script is being written by Gone with the Wind producer David O, reported Contactmusic.
The former rapper also said that Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci are in line for roles in the film.
"That's who he wants to write the parts for. I talked to Pesci about it and I know David's people have talked to Robert De Niro" said the Academy Award winning actor.
The 39-year-old disclosed that the movie will not be a "watered down" version of the game.
"I'm obviously in for whatever David wants to do, but the idea of it is so off the charts; De Niro being my father, Pesci being my uncle. It's not going to be the watered-down version, that's for sure" he added.
