Is there anything Masaba Gupta cannot do? Acting, designing, and modelling, she has won accolades for it all. Now, we can add “setting hearts racing” as another talent because that is exactly what she has been up to. The stunner set our screens on fire by posting a fiery image of herself from a shoot. Dressed in a brown crop top and a beige skirt, Masaba looked like the epitome of style as she rested on a chair. And if all the gold accessories caught your eye, there is apparently more where that came from. At least that's what Masaba said as she quoted lyrics from the song Don't jealous me from The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack.
In the caption, she quoted the lines, “Sheep don't run with lion, snake don't swing with monkey - I can't talk for too long got too much gold to try on.” The photo had Masaba Gupta's fans and colleagues scrambling to praise the actress. Sameera Reddy left a comment that said, “You gorgeous woman.” Music composer Vishal Dadlani simply said, “Oof!” while several others dropped fire emojis.
She had shared another image from the same photoshoot and this time used just a hot sauce emoticon in the caption. Reacting to the image, Samantha Ruth Prabhu said “Just wow,” with three fire emoticons. While Malaika Arora said, “Love,” celebrity stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania said, “Nude is you.” Singer Benny Dayal could not stop himself from writing, “Fabulous.” Tahira Kashyap kept it simple with, “Uff,” and fire emoticons.

Masaba, who is currently shooting for her Netflix series Masaba Masaba, took a walk down memory lane recently as her fashion label turned 12. She wrote in an Instagram post, “My label House Of Masaba turns 12 today. The first image is from my debut show as a 19-year-old. 12 years of smiles, joy, fear, failure, success, wanting to quit and wanting to never give up. All in the same breath.”
Sharing what she learnt from her journey, she said, “I wish I had 12 lessons to share with you about creating a brand and all that comes with it. I don't. But I do have one and it works for the good days and the bad days! - ‘Be disciplined about what you do and how you do it'. I don't think I'm half as talented as many of my contemporaries out there, but I make up for what I lack in talent, with hard work.' Your discipline and your hard work is your ammunition, use it well,” joking that the brand had given her some “stress-induced acne”.
