Fashion designer Masaba Gupta and veteran actress Neena Gupta share a great rapport with each other. Apart from being talented in their respective fields, the mother-daughter duo surely knows how to create a buzz on social media. The latest throwback picture shared by Masaba has the Internet talking.  The frame is from the time when Neena Gupta was shooting for the 1984 classic film Utsav. The veteran actress played the role of Mandolika in the film. Along with the picture, Masaba wrote, “Neena Gupta 1984. Courtesy: Zahan Kapoor's Utsav stash. I wonder who took this photo.” Actress Chitrangda Singh was among the first to leave a red heart and a raising hands emoji under the pic. Masaba and Chitrangda were part of the web series Modern Love Mumbai. Actress Shriya Pilgaonkar wrote, “So beautiful.” Karan Boolani's sister Karishma Boolani dropped a heart-eye emoji each.

On Neena Gupta's 63rd birthday, Masaba Gupta blessed us with a throwback album featuring her mom. One of the pictures from the photo dump is from the time when Neena Gupta met Mother Teresa. For the caption, Masaba wrote, “I mean, find me a more powerful icon. The greatest. Happy birthday, mom.”

Masaba Gupta often shares throwback pictures on Instagram and treats us to the memorable moments from her personal life. And more often than not, those pictures feature her mother Neena Gupta. Once, the fashion designer shared an old advertisement. She spoke about the not-so-kind reaction of her mother when she came home with dirty white uniforms. In the caption space, Masaba wrote, “But mama did not have such a kind reaction to when young Masaba came home from school with a dirty uniform.”
