Much like the first half of the movie, where Matthew McConaughey's character hates Jared Leto's character, the two actors don't really care for each in real life.
"Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto weren't chummy on the Dallas Buyers Club set," said a source.Matthew McConaughey confirmed it by saying: "We didn't get along, He didn't care about me and I didn't care about (him)."
