Actor Ayushmann Khurrana shared his first look from upcoming film Meri Pyaari Bindu with a video on Twitter on Thursday. Dressed in a white kurta and pants, he stars as Bengali novelist Abhimanyu Roy in the clip.
Actress Parineeti Chopra, who also stars in the movie, is happy that she has started shooting for it in Kolkata, the City of Joy.
Parineeti, last seen on screen in Shaad Ali-directed Kill Dil, said that her co-star Ayushmann will join the set soon. Parineeti tweeted on Thursday:
The Ishaqzaade star will be seen playing the character of an aspiring singer in the Yash Raj Films movie, in which she also sings a song.
Set in Kolkata, the film is directed by Akshay Roy, who is making his debut as a director with the movie. It will be produced by Maneesh Sharma.
