New Delhi:
Kangana Ranaut's sister, Rangoli Chandel, welcomed a baby boy recently and shared pictures of her "little munchkin" on Twitter today. Rangoli married businessman Ajay Chandel in 2011 and the couple named their son Prithvi Raj. Rangoli started working as Kangana's manager in 2014. On Twitter, Rangoli shared a collage featuring her newborn baby and separately posted a picture of herself with her son. It is not known if Kangana, who is currently filming Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, has met her nephew yet. See pictures of Kangana's adorable nephew here:
In May, there were reports of a rift between the two sisters as Rangoli rarely accompanied Kangana to work-related events. At that time, Rangoli told news agency IANS: "I'm pregnant and have been advised rest. That's why not accompanying Kangana."
Rangoli is an acid attack survivor and has featured on the cover of a Women's Day issue of a fashion magazine with Kangana. The Queen actress had said that Rangoli puts Kangana's interests before her own. "Rangoli is one real hero and I am very proud to be her sister. She has been my inspiration," she said.
Kangana also said that she wanted to make a film on her sister's life. "I told Rangoli that I want to make a story on you and I want the rights of your life. I want to play you. Rangoli said, 'Yes, it will be a very big flop film'. Rangoli's life is far more interesting than my life, thanks to her husband who has been madly in love with her since day one. I don't have a lover like that, so I think my life is not as exciting as Rangoli's," Kangana told IANS.
This year, Rangoli trended frequently for her tweets defending Kangana in the controversies involving actors Hrithik Roshan and Aditya Pancholi.
Kangana Ranaut was last seen in Simran and before that in Rangoon. Kangana's upcoming film is the aforementioned Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, which she co-produces and is directed by Krish.
