New Delhi:
Mel B was heartbroken the Spice Girls didn't perform at last night's (June 04, 2012) Diamond Jubliee concert.
A star-studded show was held outside London's Buckingham Palace to mark Queen Elizabeth's 60 years on the British throne and while Mel B loved watching the footage on TV, she wished she and her former bandmates - Mel C, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham - could've taken part.
She tweeted:
And it seems Mel B wasn't the only Spice Girl who wanted to be up on stage - Mel C and Emma were also keen to take part.
Mel C tweeted:
While Emma didn't say anything directly, she kept retweeting her followers who said the Spice Girls should have been involved.
She retweeted:
It had been reported the Spice Girls were asked by organiser Gary Barlow to take part, but Victoria - who now lives in Los Angeles and has forged a successful fashion career - didn't want to reunite.Stars who did perform included Sir Elton John, Sir Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Kylie Minogue, Sir Tom Jones and Madness.
