Mel Gibson selling Costa Rica estate
Los Angeles: Hollywood actor Mel Gibson has put his 500-acre estate in Costa Rica up for sale due to
lack of privacy.Real estate agent Sandra Miller said the Braveheart star "bought it for a getaway. Now he goes there and paparazzi follow him."

The oceanfront estate, known as Hacienda Dorada, is listed with a price of USD 35 million. It includes a main house with seven bedrooms and a pair of two-bedroom homes, each with its own private pool, several hundred acres of jungle, and a full-time staff, said The Hollywood Reporter.

Gibson has faced intense media scrutiny after his ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, alleged that the 54-year-old actor punched her twice in the face, breaking her teeth while she was holding their one-year-old daughter Lucia. He was dropped by his agent in July after stories of the incident and threatening voice mail messages he left for Grigorieva made the news.

The release date of Gibson's next film, The Beaver -in which he plays a depressed toy company CEO who begins speaking to the world through a hand puppet of a beaver - is
in limbo due to the controversies surrounding Gibson.
