Los Angeles: Mel Gibson has to pay ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva $750,000 as part of their custody arrangement.
The Hollywood actor and the Russian-born singer reached an agreement regarding the care of their 21-month-old daughter Lucia last week and in a follow-up hearing at Los Angeles Superior Court today (31.08.11) - attended by the former couple - all the details were finalised by Judge Peter Lichtman.
Oksana and Lucia will stay at the house they are currently living in - which was bought by Mel - and the 55-year-old actor can visit his daughter at the property at any time as long as a designated person is with him.
When Lucia turns 18 the home will be sold and all proceeds will go to her.
The $750,000 lump sum will be made in three payments to the 41-year-old beauty and Lucia will also receive the same child maintenance payments that Mel pays his ex-wife Robyn Moore for the care of their children together.
Judge Lichtman also ruled that Mel and Oksana - who split in June 2010 - cannot speak or write about their turbulent relationship and if Oksana releases any of the audio recordings she has of the 'Lethal Weapon' star allegedly verbally and physically assaulting her she will forfeit the $750,000 payment.
Earlier this year, the actor agreed to plead no contest to simple battery relating to an argument he had with Oksana in January 2010, a lesser charge than corporal injury on a spouse which he was originally facing.
