Peace, warmth and love - Bollywood celebrities like Akshay Kumar and pregnant actresses Lara Dutta and Shilpa Shetty, have wished all this and more to their friends, family and fans for this Christmas.
"I had just one request, don't be extravagant, be giving, and don't waste food... remember it's all about the joy of giving this festive season. Eat, drink, give and make merry. Have a Merry Christmas!" action star Akshay posted on his Twitter page.
Former VJ Maria Goretti, wife of actor Arshad Warsi, has been cooking up lots of goodies for the festival.
She tweeted: "Dear Santa, peace, happiness, laughter and love to all my tweefriends... Please give them what their heart loves the most... Merry Christmas."
Lara, who is due to give birth to her first baby with tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi in February 2012, is excited about the festival.
