Master of real to reel, Meryl Streep will play former British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher.
After playing author Karen Blixen in Out Of Africa, and recently, Julia Child in Julie & Julia, 61 year old Streep is now shooting The Iron Lady, a biopic of Mrs Thatcher.
Set in 1982, the film chronicles 17 days of Mrs Thatcher's life leading up to the Falklands War and how she dealt with it.
The movie, which Streep refers to as a daunting and exciting challenge, is sure to bring more accolades to the most Oscar-nominated actress of all time.
