New Delhi:
The members of American metal band 'Korn' have set a date with India. Already familiar with Indian fans through Facebook, they are set to enthrall their fans with live performances in September.
During their maiden trip to India, the band is scheduled to perform in the capital as well as Mumbai and Bangalore.
"We are so excited to be heading to India for the first time. It's an incredible country with such a rich history, and we just can't wait to perform there for the first time ever as Korn," Jonathan Davis, vocalist and band frontman said in a statement.
"We see so many fans on Facebook from India, and I've personally heard how crazy Indian fans are. All I can say is that come September, IT'S ON!" Davis added.
Known for songs like Blind and Thoughtless, the band will play in Gurgaon Sep 5, Mumbai Sep 7 and Bangalore Sep 9.
"We are living in exciting times where we're able to connect with the world in a very up close way whenever we want, and Mooz is translating this viability into music too... Starting up with Korn, we hope to be bringing some very edgy international acts through for the very aware Indian audiences," said Karamjeet Singh, senior vice president, Mooz Entertainment, organiser of the concert.
"Music lovers can look forward to a world quality concert experience, starting with 'Korn'. Bringing the legendary band to India for the first time," he added.
