Los Angeles:

Late King of Pop Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch, which is up for sale, could be turned into rehabilitation camp for children who are victims of sexual abuse.

The bidder is a local businessman and he offered US$40 million for the 2,700-acre property. Meanwhile, two other bidders want to turn the ranch into a place for music concert and attraction, reports aceshowbiz.com.

"His goal is for the place to be used to help children in a serene setting recover from the trauma of sex abuse," said a source.

The property was home to an amusement park and some animals such as orangutans, a lion, snakes, horses and elephants. (Also Read: Michael Jackson's Mother Loses Appeal Against US Promoter )

The Ranch is still visited by Michael Jackson's 16-year-old daughter Paris, who frequently travels 100 miles from her family's home in Calabasas. Paris even planted a Zen garden where a Ferris wheel once stood.
