Kill Bill star Michael Madsenwas arrested over allegations of felony child endangerment.
The 54-year-old actor was allegedly embroiled in analtercation with his young son in Malibu, California and takeninto custody after cops were called to his home, reported TMZ.
Madsen was then booked for child endangerment and held on $100,000 bail.
According to sources, the child did not need medicalattention.
Madsen was released early Saturday morning and was indecent spirits on his way out, calling the whole incident a'big misunderstanding'.
His lawyer Perry Wander claimed the fall out came afterthe star caught his son smoking marijuana.
"(Michael) found his son smoking pot and they got in anargument when he tried to take it away. It's a family matterand Michael asks that his family's privacy be respected," thelawyer said.
Madsen has three sons with his third wife Deanna Morgan,and two boys from his previous relationship with JeannineBisignano.
