Michelle believes she doesn't have an innate commercial sense

Actress Michelle Pfeiffer regretsturning down roles in iconic films such as Silence Of TheLambs and Pretty Woman.
The 55-year-old actress had been offered the chance toplay Clarence Starling in the Oscar-winning horror Silence OfThe Lambs, which stars Anthony Hopkins as a cannibalisticserial killer, but she snubbed the role and it was later givento Jodie Frost, reported Contactmusic.
Looking back, Pfeiffer thinks it was a shame that shehasn't had another opportunity to work with the film'sdirector, as she explained, "I haven't been able to work withJonathan Demme since Married to The Mob."
The actress also turned down roles in Basic Instinctstarring Uma Thurman, and Pretty Woman which earned JuliaRoberts a nomination as Best Actress at the Oscars for herperformance as a prostitute in the romantic comedy.
