Michelle Williams causedcontroversy with her graphic sex scenes in the film BlueValentine but the Oscar nominated actress considers it anachievement.
The Brokeback Mountain star and her co-star RyanGosling share a oral sex scene in the indie-flick which hasearned both of them Golden Globe nominations.
The scene had got the film a temporary NC-17 rating,which was later changed to R after protest, but Williams saysthat she is proud of it, reported New York Post online.
"I thought, 'I've never seen that before in a movieand I'm proud to be the first. Good on us for making thathappen'. As the woman in the situation that was in question, Ifound absolutely nothing scandalous, tawdry or disgustingabout it," said the 30-year-old actress.
The actress added that it was she who insisted thatthe scene be a part of the final cut.
"When we shot that scene, both Ryan and Derek said tome, 'If this bothers you when you see it in the movie, we'lltake it out'. But I wanted it," she explained.
