Mika Singh: Soniye mix of disco, Sufi beats
Mika says the song is different from his other songs
Mumbai: Singer Mika Singh, who has collaborated with Shibani Kashyap for Punjabi track Soniye for her upcoming untitled album, says the song is different from his other songs.

Mika's forte is Punjabi flavoured pop numbers such as Mauja hi mauja, Pungi, and Rani tu main raja, but his song with Shibani is a fusion of desi and Sufi beats.

"It is a very good song. We both (me and Shibani) have sung it together and our common friend Gaurav Dayal has composed the music. People are liking all my current songs, but this ('Soniye') is all different," Mika told reporters here Thursday at the shoot of the video.

"Shibani has sung very well and you all will love it. It is a club song and has disco beats, but it has Sufi flavour as well," he added.

Mika said that the video got delayed because of his busy schedule.

"We were planning to come out with the video, but I was busy with my shows. Now finally we are shooting the video and it's a very good song," said Mika.
