Los Angeles:
Pop star Miley Cyrus auctioned her 'Caitlyn Jenner' artwork - three customized versions of the Vanity Fair cover featuring the transgender celebrity - at the sixth annual Inspiration Gala New York. Ms Jenner, 65, recently covered Vanity Fair after transitioning from male to female. The former Olympian shot to television fame as the often hapless Bruce Jenner on reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Labelled 'The Caitlyn Collection', the pieces were customized by Miley using sequins, glitter, paint and glue and had been autographed by Caitlyn.
Excited about the live auction of her artwork, the 22-year-old singer posted a picture on Instagram showcasing her creations:
Auctioned to amfAR, the foundation for AIDS Research, the collection fetched nearly US$ 69,000, reported Aceshowbiz.
