Los Angeles:
Singer Miley Cyrus has responded to the criticism over her smoking pot on-stage at the 2013 MTV EMAs, saying "sometimes in life you just gotta decide to not give AF."
The 20-year-old, who won the 'Best Video' award for her track Wrecking Ball at the MTV EMA awards, held in Amsterdam, shocked many when she pulled out a joint on stage and lit it, reported Aceshowbiz.
"Sometimes in life you just gotta decide to not give AF (sic)," Cyrus posted on Twitter.
She also recalled the night on Twitter, "Last night was a blurrr... Thanks Katy Perry for hosting... So much fun last night! Amsterdam, you're the dopesssst, thank you for always being so good to me (sic)."
For the rebroadcast in the US, MTV censored the stunt and showed a footage of the audience watching her acceptance speech instead. The network has also removed clips featuring Cyrus smoking weed from video sharing sites.
