Miley Cyrus is upset after losing her pooch Floyd earlier this month

Songstress Miley Cyrus has given her new pet Moonie to a family friend.
The former Disney star revealed her decision to give the dog to someone in a Twitter post over the weekend, saying that she was not ready to have a new dog after her beloved pet Floyd died earlier this month, reported Ace Showbiz.

When asked about the animal's whereabouts, Cyrus replied, "My friend's mom who has a tiny pup (for) him (to) play with."
"After what happened I'm scared (to) have a tiny dog," she added.
Floyd was reportedly killed by a coyote. .
