Actor Shah Rukh Khan was briefly taken to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital with what sources close to him described as "very minor injuries" after an accident while shooting at Mumbai's JW Marriott Hotel this morning.
The superstar is shooting for Happy new Year directed by close friend Farah Khan and co-starring Deepika Padukone, at Mumbai's JW Marriott Hotel.
A statement released on behalf of the star said: Mr Khan had a minor accident on the sets while shooting. He has a minor injury and has got the necessary medical aid. Mr Khan is absolutely fine now. Thank you for all your wishes!
Later, SRK tweeted: Have a few tests to do & Insha Allah all will be good.Few scars maybe. Will show them off cos as they say there r no scars for happiness.
SRK is scheduled to attend the Filmfare Awards in Mumbai tomorrow.
