British actor Orlando Bloom and his model wife Miranda Kerr are expecting their first child.
The 27-year-old Australian model has confirmed that she is pregnant with Bloom's child, People reported online.
"Yes, I am pregnant. Four months along," said Kerr, confirming much buzz about a possible baby after the couple announced their engagement in June, and a quiet marriage in the following month.
"I remember on one occasion in the early days [of my pregnancy] when it was still too soon to say anything, and I had a dreadful time at one job," Kerr said, recalling morning sickness during the first trimester.
Both Kerr and Bloom are practicing Buddhists. The 'Victoria's secret' model maintains her physique through daily yoga, light jogging, and a diet of steamed vegetables, fresh fruit, and fish.
