Pregnant model Miranda Kerr hasthrown her weight behind an anti-suicide helpline for theyouth after witnessing one such tragedy in her family.
The 27-year-old model is backing Australia's 'Too Many,Too Soon' initiative which would provide counselling todisenchanted young people with suicidal thoughts, Contactmusicreported.
"The sadness of losing someone, especially in thesecircumstances, is something we live with and continuallyquestion how it could have been prevented," Kerr says.
The star has seen the devastating impact of taking one'slife up close after one of her relatives committed suicide in2009.
The Australian beauty is expecting a baby with husbandOrlando Bloom in 2011.
