Hollywood starlet Mischa Barton has received a very unwelcome Easter gift, a bill of USD 95,000 bill from a private nursing company.
The OC actress who has been out of work for the past year, has been ordered to pay the private nursing company for services rendered back in 2009, reported TMZ.
The website reports that the 25-year-old star ran up the whopping bill with Doctor's Choice Nursing but the money was never paid.
After suing for the payment plus interest, a judge signed off on a default judgement in favour of DCN, as Barton did not show up in court.
However, a representative for the actress denied the authenticity of the claim, saying "This is the first we'veheard of it."
Barton was charged with drink-driving and possession of marijuana in 2007 and in 2009 was put under a psychiatric hold, over what she claimed was a tooth infection that spiralled out of control.
She was forcibly held at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre for two weeks and sectioned under the Mental HealthAct.
