Mumbai: The trailer of National Award-winning filmmaker Vinod Kapri's upcoming social satire Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho has received a thumbs-up from megastar Amitabh Bachchan and filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani.
The 72-year-old actor and the PK director took to microblogging site Twitter to express how the trailer has impressed them.
Rajkumar Hirani tweeted:
The film, which stars Annu Kapoor, Rahul Bagga, Ravi Kishen and Hrishita Bhatt, is a political satire running along a perilous love story based in Tanakpur, a village in Haryana.
The 'Pradhan' of Tanakpur, Sualal Gandas (Annu) rules the village with extensive powers, vested upon him by a 'Khap'. Incidentally, the cruel Sualal has a gentle, dreamy and much younger wife Maya (Hrishita) and as luck would have it, she falls in love with Arjun (Rahul), a man closer to her age and heart.
Presented by Fox Star Studios, Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho is set to release on June 19.
