Mandira Bedi, who lost her husband Raj Kaushal, a filmmaker, on June 30 last year, remembered him in an Instagram post on Thursday morning. Raj Kaushal died due to cardiac arrest at the age of 49 last year. On Thursday, Mandira Bedi shared a picture of a handwritten note that read: "365 days without you." In the caption, she wrote: "Miss you Raji." In the comment section, actor Rhea Chakraborty wrote: "My love to you." Union Minister Smriti Irani dropped heart emojis in the comments. So did Mandira Bedi's best friend Mouni Roy. Tahira Kashyap wrote: "More strength and love to you." Neha Dhupia wrote: "Love and strength." Vishal Dadlani's comment read: "Love to you and the kids, Mandy. Wishing you strength."

Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal got married in 1999 and they welcomed son Vir in 2011. Mandira and Raj Kaushal welcomed daughter Tara into the family in July 2020.
Besides being a film producer, Raj Kaushal was also a writer and a director and he had helmed films like Pyaar Mein Kabhie Kabhie, Shaadi Ka Ladoo (also featuring Mandira Bedi) and Anthony Kaun Hai. He began his career as a copywriter. He started his own advertising production company in 1998 and went on to direct over 800 commercials. He backed the 2005 film My Brother... Nikhil.
