New Delhi:

Tom Cruise's latest Mission hasn't been aborted yet. Box Office India reports that the nett collection of Mission: Impossible - Fallout dropped by five percent on Tuesday collected a dignified Rs 4 crore bringing the total to Rs 46 crore (IMAX preview collection included). Mission: Impossible - Fallout, directed by Christopher McQuarrie, released along with Bollywood film Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3 and the former emerged victorious at the ticket window. Mission: Impossible - Fallout is just Rs 2 crore away from surpassing Rogue Nation's lifetime collection (Rs 48 crore) in India. The film also stars Henry Cavill, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg and Rebecca Ferguson and it is running successfully worldwide. Mission: Impossible - Fallout has fared well in the domestic market too. It topped the weekend box office in North America, outperforming the five earlier editions of Tom Cruise's action franchise.

Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible - Fallout opened to favourable reviews on Friday. Critics called it his "best mission" yet. "Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is willing to go to any length to see that humanity triumphs. The intertwining of the political and the moral itself makes Fallout an action thriller of a completely unique timbre," Saibal Chatterjee wrote in his review for NDTV.

The climax of Mission: Impossible - Fallout is set in Kashmir and the India print of the Paramount/Skydance film released with a few alterations taking out scenes which "misrepresented the boundaries of Jammu and Kashmir." Central Board of Film Certification chief Prasoon Joshi explained: "Integrity of our country's borders is non-negotiable," reports news agency PTI.

For 56-year-old Tom Cruise, nothing is 'Impossible' as he climbs steep cliffs which can induce vertigo simply by watching on the big screen. He drives cars and flies helicopters at outrageous speed to nab villains, hell-bent on creating havoc.
