Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty is apparently unwell and he's is currently in USA recovering from a back ailment, reports SpotboyE.
Mr Chakraborty's injury during the shooting of 2009 film Luck is the apparent cause of the chronic back ailment. His manager told SpotboyE: "Dada is unwell and not in Mumbai. He is not using his phone and has decided to rest in Los Angeles for at least a month. It's been nearly two weeks now since he flew out, and he will return only by end of this month. Dada also had a hairline fracture in his back, but thankfully he doesn't need a surgery."
Mithun Chakraborty, 66, known for films like Disco Dancer, Gangaa Jamunaa Saraswathi and Swami Vivekananda, started his career in 1976 film Mrigaya. Since then he has starred in more than 350 films in Hindi, Bengali, Bhojpuri and other languages.
Mr Chakraborty's last Hindi film was Hawaizaada co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana. In the last few years, he's also featured in Salman Khan's Kick (2014) and Akshay Kumar's Entertainment (2014) and Boss (2013).
His last Bengali film was Ek Nadir Galpo: Tale of a River.
