New Delhi:
The executors of Michael Jackson's estate are seeking emergency guardianship of his three children.
John Branca and John McClain - who look after the late singer's financial affairs - want custody of Prince Michael, 15, Paris, 14, and 10-year-old Prince Michael II, after the disappearance of their legal guardian Katherine Jackson last week.
Katherine - Michael's mother - has since resurfaced in Arizona where she is staying with her daughter Rebbie.
Sources close to the family told TMZ.com the executors feel responsible for protecting the children, as they are the primary beneficiaries of their father's estate.
Their filing for guardianship is expected to allege Katherine has been effectively kidnapped by Michael's siblings and as a result, his children are in danger and without supervision.
Paris has tweeted: "8 days and counting ... something is really off , this isn't like her at all ... i wanna talk directly to my grandmother!!< 3 (sic)"
Michael's siblings have made no secret of the fact they want Branca and Mclain out, with Janet, Rebbie, Tito, Randy and Jermaine all signing a letter last week calling for their resignation saying Michael's will was "without question ... fake, flawed and fraudulent. (sic)"
However, sources say even though this plan has been in place for months, even if the will was invalidated, Michael's brothers and sisters would get nothing as his prior will also doesn't name them.
It is not clear who the Jackson family want to appoint as the new executors, but even if Branca and McClain were removed from the multi-million dollar estate, a court would not appoint anyone without a background in finance to administer the estate.
The executors are believed to be drafting guardianship papers which they will file in the next few days.
