Heavy rains that lashed the city todayafter a long lull set some of the Bollywood personalitiescomplaining though few of them appeared to enjoy it.
"From Juhu to airport have been on the road for two hoursalready. Mumbai breaks down in rains. At least rains arebringing water to a city on brink of acute shortage of water,"Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur said on micro-blogging site twitter.
"What heavy rains. So wish I didn't have to go anywhere.Killer traffic on roads. Its just madness," actress AmeeshaPatel said.
Actress Lara Dutta is making plans of trekking. "Can heara good monsoon trek in the ghats calling! Time to stretchthose muscles and put them to some use! Muscles are ready,hair is complaining!," Lara said.
"For all the sceptics at the mumbai met dept whoforecasted monsoon failure and water cuts please look out ofur window. Its pouring," Director-Producer Raj Kaushaltweeted.
"You know its a holiday when even your driver calls insaying can't reach because of the water logging. So time forsome pakodas and garam chai. In a month where there is noofficial state or national or festival holiday, trust theMumbai rains to give you an off midweek," Kaushal said.
While, Bipasha Basu says, "Surprised to step out of myhouse and find myself in Venice!Just need to swap my car for aGondola and my driver for a handsome gondola guy!."
"Just got my new 3D camera! Can't stop shooting...There is nothing better than shooting rains in 3D! Endlesslayers!," Filmmaker Shirish Kunder said.
