A TV series based on the popular romantic comedy Monster-In-Law is in the works.
According to a report in Deadline.com, the Carrie Diaries developer and executive producer Amy B Harris, and 30 Rock executive producer John Riggi are making the show, reports contactmusic.com
The multi-camera comedy will be a follow-up to the big screen version, featuring Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda, and the film's producers Chris Bender and J.C. Spink will also serve as executive producers.
The 2005 movie was a huge hit, grossing $154.7 million at the worldwide box office.
