New Delhi: Actress Parineeti Chopra revealed her toned look with a stunning set of pictures on social media on December 9. The photographs are the outcome of a 'special photoshoot' that made her shrug off inhibitions and identify herself as a strong and confident girl. The pictures, which come with motivational quotes, made her a trending topic on social media within 24 hours of release.
The 27-year old actress, who had taken a sabbatical of sorts after her two back-to-back flops in 2014 - Daawat-e-Ishq and Kill Dil - also said that it took her a good nine months to "look this way"; however, she still is "work in progress." In a separate Facebook post, Parineeti, who joined Bollywood with her 2011 movie Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, said that four years into showbiz has brought her "closer to where" she aspired to be.
Before she took a break, Parineeti was advised by her mentor, filmmaker Aditya Chopra to take some time off and focus on making better film choices.
Meanwhile, Parineeti's Twitter feed is flooded with congratulatory messages and appreciation. Her actress-sister Priyanka Chopra said that she is "proud of" Parineeti on Twitter. Celebrities like actors Athiya Shetty, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sooraj Pancholi, singer-actor Ayushmann Khurrana and tennis champ Sania Mirza had words of encouragement for her. The Ishaqzaade star took out time to thank each one of them.
Parineeti was last seen in Kill Dil, after which she appeared in a cameo in web series Man's World this year.
