Sonam, Kapoor and Anand Ahuja hosted a grand Diwali party at their residence in Mumbai on Monday. Since then, the actress has been keeping her Insta family by sharing pictures and videos of the party on her Instagram handle. Recently, the actress shared several pictures in which she is twinning with her husband, Anand, in off-white outfits. The actress has also shared solo photos of her offering a closer look at her outfit. In the images, Sonam can be seen in an off-white ensemble and accessorized her look with a statement pearl headpiece and earrings. She kept her makeup natural and left her hair loose.
On the other hand, Anand Ahuja looks dapper in a traditional ensemble paired with black shoes. Sharing the post, Sonam Kapoor wrote a long note expressing Diwali was extra special this year as it was their son Vayu's first Diwali with family and their closest friends.
She wrote, "Diwali, or Dipawali gets its name from the row (avali) of clay lamps (deepa) that people light outside their homes to symbolize the inner light that protects us from spiritual darkness. To us, Diwali is the celebration of happy endings and new beginnings... And we're so full of love, light and gratitude this year to bring in Vayu's first Diwali with family and our closest friends!"
She concluded the note with these words, "From our little family to yours, wishing you a Very Happy New year & Prosperous Diwali!"
