  • Soracharu is a romantic comedy which stars actor Ravi Teja, who won the Nandi Award for Best Actor for the film Neninthe in 2008. Kajal Aggarwal plays the female lead in the movie.
  • Karthik (Ravi Teja) is a football coach in Ooty where he falls in love with and marries Vasu (Richa Gangopadhyay). After a few days, differences crop up between the two and they separate. In order to maintain a distance Karthik finds a job in Italy and starts working there as a software engineer.
  • In Italy, he meets Sandhya (Kajal Aggarwal) who falls for Karthik. When Karthik decides to go back to India, Sandhya follows.
  • However, on the flight home, Karthik reveals that he is already married. Sandhya isn't deterred. But what of the wife, waiting in the wings?
  • Ravi Teja uses his particular brand of comedy and action to good effect.
  • Both the heroines, Kajal Agarwal and Richa Gangopadhyay, fill the glamour slots but have little else to do.
  • Nara Rohit, Chandramohan, Jayasudha, Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao, Srinivasa Reddy, MS Narayana and Master Bharat, who make up the rest of the cast, do justice to their respective roles.
  • But director Parasuram loses control at the climax and ends not with a bang but a whimper.
