Mumford & Sons, Kanye West, Jay Z lead Grammy nominations

  • It's neck to neck competition at the 55th Grammy awards. English rock band Mumford & Sons along with Black Keys, Kanye West, Frank Ocean and Jay Z are leading the nomination list with six nods each.

  • Other categories that Frank Ocean is nominated in are - album of the year for Channel Orange, best new artist, best urban contemporary album and record of the year for Thinkin Bout You from Channel Orange.
  • American rock band Black Keys is also in the run for awards with a nomination each in categories like record of the year for Lonely Boy, album of the year, best rock song, best rock performance, best rock song and best rock album.
  • Apart from best rap/sung collaboration and best short form music video, singer Jay Z been nominated for best rap song for N****s In Paris and two nominations in best rap performance category for N****s In Paris and I Do.
  • Two of his songs also feature in best rap/sung collaboration - while one is No Church In The Wild, the other one is Talk That Talk with Rihanna.
