Vivek Oberoi says he does not regret doing any film

Actor Vivek Oberoi says he hastaken failures in career in his stride and is not worried about hisposition in the industry.
"I am not worried where I stand in the industry... Iam very happy today. I feel in life people forget to beappreciative and thankful. I want to be thankful to everyonefor giving me chance in their films. There are millions ofpeople who are so talented but don't get a break in theindustry," Vivek told PTI.
The actor who essayed memorable performances in filmslike Saathiya, Masti, Omkara and Shootout atLokhandwala, has of late delivered a series of flopsincluding films like Mission Istanbul, Prince, Kurbaan,Kismat Love Paisa Dilli and others.
"I am here in the industry for close to ten years now.I have won praises for most of my performances, won awards,made a lot of money and earned a lot of respect and love. Ihave got so many things that I am thankful to everyone ratherthan complaining for things that did not happen," the actorsaid.
Vivek, who entered Bollywood in Ram Gopal Verma'sCompany, feels that happiness in Bollywood context must notbe linked to how much a film is raking in at Box Office."For me the important thing in life is to stay happy.One must learn to be happy not depending on anything else andnot put conditions for being happy. I think one must notconnect things like if my film makes Rs 100 crore or Rs 200crore then I will be happy. It is a silly thing now," theactor said.
When asked if he regrets doing some films in hiscareer, Vivek said, "I don't regret doing any films. If it isa flop what can I do and if a hit what will I say. You can'tchange your opinion on anything just on the success or failureof a film. My films have been flop and I accept it, I workedhard for all of them," he said.
Post Sanjay Gupta's Shootout at Lokhandwala, none ofVivek's movie did well."After Shootout Lokhandwala, I partied for oneyear... I did not do any work then I did Mission Istanbulwhich was a flop, then I did 'Prince' it made money but wasnot a hit, Rakta Charitra did well in south but not here. Idid Kurbaan, unfortunately it too did not do well," Viveksaid.
The actor will soon be in Kumar Taurani'sromantic-crime home production Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story,releasing February 15 and political thriller Zilla Ghaziabadwhich is set to hit the screens on February 22.He is also working with Rakesh Roshan in hismuch-awaited superhero science fiction Krrish 3 slated forNovember release and in Indra Kumar's adult comedy GrandMasti in 2014.
