Actress Angelina Jolie believes hermother lived long enough to meet her grandchildren and couldpass in peace knowing everything was going to be all right.
The 36-year-old'd mother, Marcheline Bertrand, lost herbattle with ovarian cancer at the age of 56 in 2007, justshortly after Jolie brought home her second adopted baby,Zahara, reported Marie Claire.
Jolie said her mother fought through the pain ofchemotherapy just so she could see her children - Maddox andZahara - and die confident that her daughter's life was on theright track as a person and a mother.
"I don't want to get emotional. I wish she were here. Iam never going to stop missing her. My mom was born to be agrandmother; she would have just loved it.
"She did meet some of my children, and she wasfantastic. Maddox still remembers everything about her... Assoon as Mad came home, I think she knew that everything wasgoing to be all right," Jolie added.
The actress has six kids, of which three are adopted,with partner Brad Pitt.
